Smoke and Rumble Smoke and Rumble

You’ll Need…
450gm Potatoes chopped, 60gm butter, 1 large sliced onion, 250gm cabbage, 2/3 cups grated cheese , 2 rashers bacon and Smoke & Roast to season.

To Make…
Boil and then simmer potatoes until just tender, rinse and drain. Gently Mash with a fork. In a pan melt butter and add bacon and onion, cook for 10 minutes, then add cabbage and cook for a further 5 minutes. Add potatoes, sprinkle cheese and season with Smoke & Roast to your taste. Transfer to dish and bake for 20 minutes on 180 C.

Smoke and Loaf Smoke and Loaf

You’ll Need…
550gm lean beef mince, 300gm minced pork, 1 onion finely chopped, two crushed garlic cloves, 1 egg, 1/2 cup parsley, 2 teaspoons of prepared mustard and 1 teaspoon of Smoke & Roast to season.

To Make…
Combine the pork, beef, onion, garlic, egg, mustard and Smoke & Roast, mix well. Press mix into a 22cm loaf tin, cook covered with foil for 30 minutes at 190 C. Remove foil and cook for further 30 minutes or until juice runs clear. Serve hot or cold. (An optional topping before cooking; Slice a tomato and place along the loaf and drizzle with prepared Italian tomato sauce).

Smokin Scramble Smokin Scramble

You’ll Need…
2 eggs, 2 tablespoons milk, Smoke & Roast to season, 2 teaspoons of butter and 2 buttered pieces of toast.

To Make…
Lightly beat eggs, add milk and Smoke & Roast to taste. Melt the butter in a pan, pour in egg mixture and cook over a low heat until set. Using a wooden spoon gently work mixture from outside to centre for even cooking. The dish should be light and fluffy once cooked, so do not over stir. Serve on crusty buttered toast.
